It has finally arrived! The much anticipated summer has finally come. We are grateful for the beautiful sunshine and time we get to spend out in it. We have really gotten lucky to have a pool here at the apartments, and spend almost every day there. Texas loves swimming and we hope to get him started on swim lessons in August. Lizzy also loves the water though she like to just sit in it and relax. We bought a float for her and she loves to sit and bask in the sun, covered in sunscreen of course. It seem as though summer just begun but at the same time like it is almost at an end. We have been so busy that time has just flown by.
I took a week and went to girls camp in June. It was incredible. What amazing things the girls of today are armed with. Great spirits of strength and Faith. It was wonderful to grow from them. Jared stayed home with the kids and tells me they had a great time, going to the park and spending time with friends.
Jared and I were asked by the Stake to go to Youth Conference as Host parents. Jared works with the youth in our ward and they love him so very much so he is really looking forward to this experience. He has never gone to Youth Conference so I am thinking it will be a good experience for him. I am also very excited to spend more time with the youth of the church.
So far The summer has been wonderful. We are looking forward to much more fun and excitement. We will keep you posted.
